Honoring Prof. Acad. Dr. Gheorghe Boboc
In honor of Prof. Acad. Dr. Gheorghe Boboc, a leading figure in Romanian orthodontics, AREO grants the Boboc Awards at each congress – recognizing excellence, originality, and the contribution of young specialists in the field. This award symbolizes the desire to continue the academic and professional legacy of Professor Boboc, who laid the foundation of modern orthodontics in Romania and trained generations of dedicated specialists.
Rusu Awards
Honoring Prof. Univ. Dr. Mircea Rusu
In honor of Prof. Univ. Dr. Mircea Rusu, founder of the pedodontics and orthodontics discipline at UMF Iași and a pioneer of pediatric dentistry in Romania, AREO grants the Rusu Awards at each congress – recognizing excellence, originality, and the contribution of young specialists in the field. The award continues the legacy of a professor who built pediatric dental care in Moldova, opened the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic in Iași, and left a remarkable scientific and academic contribution.
